Samsung i900 Cellphone, No Word From Samsung Yet.

Samsung i900While there is no actual confirmation of this phone, no release date, not a single word about this phone from Samsung, pictures with it are all around the Internet already. This phone is very good, especially Samsung fans will love it. The only disadvantage by far is the lack of physical keyboard, which is a great one considering this is a Windows Mobile phone. Recent photos revealed us some specs:

  • 5Mpixel Camera (with autofocus, very good)
  • 3,5″ Touchscreen “supposedly” a WQVGA, 400×240 pixels.
  • Quad-band, 3G and HSDPA 7.2 Mbits
  • Wifi, FM radio, Bluetooth
  • 16GB crazy on board memory, and microSD slot.
  • Windows Mobile 6.1

No price tag, neither release date, more info here.

IntelliScreen, a very nice iPhone app released, Beta.

Well, when I saw this app, my thoughts were, wow. Well it’s very cool, you can guess it’s feature from the image to the left. It places usefull information on Locked Screen of your iPhone. It’s very usefull, now you don’t need to unlock it, you can read recent news, email, check weather and see calendar events right there. Well, it’s very usefull. I won’t place here the information how to install it, or more features, because you can find it all here. Attention! It’s in Beta yet, so I don’t suggest you to install it. I will place a little review of mine here.

Well I have installed it right when I first heard of it. Firs thing that bumped in my eyes, was a Pop-up of this program, “Read Before Purchasing”, and I wasn’t promted to purchase anything. This means the program is commercial, and it will cost some money and be avaliable in the App Store. Secondly, it fetches weather from some shitty weater network that doesn’t have my town (well most likely this means that my town is shitty :)) The program is usefull, but lets face it - it will consume more battery. If it will check for news feeds, sports feed, e-mail and weather, on the background, it will consume your power. If not then you will have to wait for it to load the data, in the mean time you could just unlock you phone and do it yourself.

New Jawbone, 2 times smaller and better!

Jawbone, probably world’s best Bluetooth headset manufacturer, has just released their second version oh their most famous headset. And if the first one was small, solid, noise-deductive, and slim, it’s now twice as that! It beats the pre-version in sound quality, size and weight. It’s comfortable and barely touches face! The new one has only 4 hours of talk time, despite of six hours talk time of previous model, but it has much better stand-by time, it’s 8 days! Wow! Well if you are more into headsets, you can read a great review on Gizmodo here.

And, The BlackBerry Storm, Oops, THUNDER Goes To Verizon!

Do you remember that Apple Killer by RIM? So, as Boy Genius says, this new touchscreen phone will go out with Verizon. So to you all who love Verizon, and already have contracts with it, and want an Apple iPhone, but don’t want to be AT&T and in a crowd with 100 million iPhone owners of 2008, you may wait for, hmm… for August, to get your BlackBerry Thunder! Yeah, smoking hot phone by RIM, it’s gonna kick iPhone in the nuts. Well that’s a pretty smooth move of RIM. They are betting on getting sales from guys not who like their phones, but the carrier. Because if there would be choice of iPhone and BlackBerry, phones with slightly the same features, iPhone would win. I think it’s not because iPhone will be cheaper, it’s something esle, like, brand? :) I don’t know let’s wait for the keynote from Steve Jobs on 9th of June.

You will be able to test the phone in special booths dedicated! This is going to be great announcment, well this phone was reviewed only by one man, and with old software, anyways everybody believes that this is an amazing phone, can’t wait to see May 12th!

New 3G iPhone Photos Discovered, iPhone is getting thicker.

3G iPhone White

New, almost looking like real 3G iPhone photos are discovered at Chinese iPhone website WeiPhone. The phone meets all the specs that were posted previously. We can clearly see it is getting thicker and wider, and has a 3G Camera to the left. This is not the iPhone itself, most likely these are just bodies. Looks like they are being made of plastic, or painted aluminum, without chrome on the borders. If someone knows Chinese and you can translate what do they say on Chinese website please let me know :) Well this photos only look real, no any confirmation, but the fact that they match 3G iPhone case layouts and photos come from China, where they do assemble iPhones, those may be true. We can just wait for MacWorld this summer.

Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 Release Date Revealed

Today, at Handago Developer newsletter, a lot of people spotted that they are going to release Xperia in mid-september, this year! There was a rumor going on that Xperia will be released next year, now it’s crashed!

Here is the screenshot and link:

Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 Release Date

Here is the magic line:

The Xperia X1 will launch in mid-September 2008

Well Xperia is a “revolutionary” phone for Sony-Ericsson, it’s first time they are making that powerful smartphone with Windows Mobile as an Operating System. It’s also has exclusive design, full arc-sliding QWERTY keyboard, 800×480 pixel 3inch display, Qualcomm’s 528Mhz CPU and 128Mb of RAM. It looks fantastic to me, but it’s also too big at my opinion. Here you can find some pictures.

First Official Specs of HTC Diamond

On newsmobile.it appeared first specs of HTC Diamond that look official. Well it has high-density display, having 640×480 pixels resolution on screen that is actually smaller than iPhone has. Has 3G, OS: Windows Mobile 6.1

2.8 inch VGA display (640×480 pixel resolution)
Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional
Quadband GSM/GPRS/Edge and UMTS/HSDPA
3.2 MP camera (autofocus) (No info about video recording)
VGA camera for video calls over 3G
QWERTY keyboard (slideot?)
Qualcomm 528 Mhz Processor (weaker than iPhone has)
4 GB of internal memory plus a MicroSD slot
FM Radio
Accelerometer (Like the one iPhone has to detect position)

Some say this is the most important of the year for HTC, they want to take iPhone market, but while the phone looks pretty nice, all they can hope for is taking over LG Prada :) Display is too small for that kind of pixels. Still no info about the battery.

RIM is Trying to Reach New Market, Flip Phone. Blackberry KickStart

This is the fresh photos of a new Blackberry, KickStart. It has a T-Mobile branding on it, which says alot, like it’s going to be avaliable with T-Mobile only at the start :) I guess RIM is just trying to reach a market of “Flip phone lovers”, and it seems to be it’s very smooth move, figuring out that a lot of people with their old Motorola RAZRs may consider buying a new phone, why not smartphone? Well here are rumored spects:

  • Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE
  • “Next Gen” SureType keyboard
  • 2 Megapixel camera
  • 16-bit color LCDs
  • Internal LCD is 240×320, external one is 160×128
  • Wi-Fi b,g
  • 3.5mm headset jack
  • OS is 4.6

Well this phone is still “Rumor-based” but it’s release smells like September, well lets wait and see is it going to Kick-Start :)
