Sony’s Xperia X1 will come to America, too!

Xperia is one hard to wait phone I have to say. I think Sony made it wrong to start promoting it so early, because it’s no going to release until Q4 this year, it was annoucned a while ago. So some people may consider it has became old. New whitepaper shows us that X1 will be released in 2 variations, for America and for other countries. The difference between them is just some tri-band connection stuff, nothing special. It’s pretty sure they made this clear beause there were not so many Sony Ericsson’s smartphones coming to US. We also have an information about talk time, it’s 10 hours over GMS and 6,5 hours over 3G.

Vista is now with Carrier!

Rogers officially launched HTC Shift, and unique mobile phone / computer that supports Windows Vista. It has a 7 inch touchscreen, 40 Gb HDD, and other stuff that almost all mobiles have, maybe I only have to say about GPS. It’s $1599.99 with 3-year contract. If you consider getting this phone, I would suggest you get an unclocked version over eBay, it will cost you less, but you won’t get GPS and Data support from Carrier.

Exclusive Pictures of Sony Ericsson Paris leaked, looks great!

Sony Ericsson \"Paris\"

Sony Ericsson P5i, codenamed “Paris”, looks like very hot slider-phone, with Blackberry Pearl-alike keyboard. It has 5MP camera, and GPS, WiFi, 3G. And 2.8″ touchscreen is operateable by stylus or your finger. Will run on UIQ 3.2, has 360 MHz CPU. Will be avaliable with Vodafone at the end of this year, no more information. But phone looks very good, especially the 5Mpix camera, cameras on SE’s are always very good.

Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 Release Date Revealed

Today, at Handago Developer newsletter, a lot of people spotted that they are going to release Xperia in mid-september, this year! There was a rumor going on that Xperia will be released next year, now it’s crashed!

Here is the screenshot and link:

Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 Release Date

Here is the magic line:

The Xperia X1 will launch in mid-September 2008

Well Xperia is a “revolutionary” phone for Sony-Ericsson, it’s first time they are making that powerful smartphone with Windows Mobile as an Operating System. It’s also has exclusive design, full arc-sliding QWERTY keyboard, 800×480 pixel 3inch display, Qualcomm’s 528Mhz CPU and 128Mb of RAM. It looks fantastic to me, but it’s also too big at my opinion. Here you can find some pictures.

First Official Specs of HTC Diamond

On newsmobile.it appeared first specs of HTC Diamond that look official. Well it has high-density display, having 640×480 pixels resolution on screen that is actually smaller than iPhone has. Has 3G, OS: Windows Mobile 6.1

2.8 inch VGA display (640×480 pixel resolution)
Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional
Quadband GSM/GPRS/Edge and UMTS/HSDPA
3.2 MP camera (autofocus) (No info about video recording)
VGA camera for video calls over 3G
QWERTY keyboard (slideot?)
Qualcomm 528 Mhz Processor (weaker than iPhone has)
4 GB of internal memory plus a MicroSD slot
FM Radio
Accelerometer (Like the one iPhone has to detect position)

Some say this is the most important of the year for HTC, they want to take iPhone market, but while the phone looks pretty nice, all they can hope for is taking over LG Prada :) Display is too small for that kind of pixels. Still no info about the battery.

Nokia N95 8Gb official launch, with crazy activation plan!

The Nokia N95 8Gb device will be avaliable in Canada for $399 with a 3-year activation plan. This is the first Nseries phone to Hit Canada, and It’s going the before United States.

This Nokia smartphone is hell of a device, but let’s face it, do you see yourself holdng one phone for 3 years? Every phone that’s coming today obligates you to have a deal with Carrier. Well maybe they don’t have much phones coming next 3-years to Canada, I don’t know :) Here are Specs of device:

8GB Capacity
5 MegaPixel Camera with 20x Zoom
2.8″ (240 x 320) QVGA 16 million colour display
Video Recording at 30/sec frame rate
3G and Wifi
Mobile Mail and POP E-mail
Nokia’s N-Gage games service
TeleNav for maps and directions

Well while price looks pretty reasonable, 3-years activation plan doesn’t, atleast to me. Let’s wait who will carry this phone to United States.
